Can I register on the day?

Unless Limits are reached – there will be an opportunity to register on the day, please ensure you allow plenty of time prior to your race. Precinct will be open from 530am Sunday 24 Aug.

What if I don’t live in Brisbane?

If you’ve missed the mail out date (15 July) a local friend/family member can collect on your behalf @ Wildfire Sports & Trek – Sat 16 August – store hours.

Will there be a bag drop?

The bag drop for the race will be located in a clearly marked area within the race precinct

Can I run if i’m under 18 years old?

Yes, only if a parental consent form is signed.

Children must be aged 4 and over.

4 – 11 years of age must be within arm’s reach of a parent, guardian or other designated adult of the parents’ choice during the event, this is an insurance requirement and we have the authority to uphold this rule.

From 12yrs and above children are welcome to register for any distance (if they’ve regularly run this distance for 12 months or more) Parent/Guardian consent form required.

Can I change to another distance/event?

Yes – and there is no fee to change. No refunds available if downgrading distance. Upgrading distance will incur the difference only.

Where are the water stations?

Water Stations will be out on course as well as use of water bubblers and also within race precinct.

Where are the toilets located?

Toilets are located at race precinct

Getting to the Race Precinct – Parking

For parking near Bretts Wharf, you can find options on the surrounding streets, like Riverview Terrace, or utilise the larger shopping centre parking areas like Coles Ascot Plaza (from 9am Sunday) Alternatively, public transport, including the train to Ascot Station, offers a convenient alternative without the need to park.

Parking Options:

• Street Parking:

Free street parking is available on Racecourse Road and surrounding streets, but be mindful of parking signs and restrictions. .

For our Early Risers • Hamilton Hotel:

While the Hamilton Hotel complex has limited parking, some parking may be available on the fringes of the complex and on side streets.

• Portside Wharf:

Underground parking is available at Portside Wharf, with specific access and cost information available on their website.

Public Transportation:

For 5Km + @.2Km

• Ascot Train Station:

The Ascot Station is located approximately 400 meters from the Lancaster Road end of Racecourse Road and is a convenient option, especially if you want to avoid parking.

• CityCat:

The CityCat ferry service is another option for reaching Bretts Wharf and the surrounding area, with the ability to park at New Farm Park and take the ferry.

• Other Options:

Consider public transport, taxis, rideshares, cycling, scooters, or walking, depending on your preference.
